Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all trade customers. Britannia operates as a business-to-business (B2B) distributor. This website does not provide an online checkout or payment facility. Instead, customers submit enquiries through our Request a Quote form, and all orders are confirmed directly with our sales team, including agreed pricing, quantities, delivery terms and payment terms.

Product listings on this website are for information purposes and do not constitute an offer for sale. A binding order is only formed once we have issued a written quotation and you have confirmed acceptance, or once we have accepted a purchase order from you in writing.

Prices are quoted individually to trade customers and may vary based on order volume, delivery location and prevailing raw material costs. Quoted prices are valid for the period stated in the relevant quotation.

Delivery timescales and methods will be agreed as part of the order confirmation process. We supply customers across the United Kingdom and internationally; delivery costs and lead times for international orders will be confirmed at the time of quotation.

Payment terms will be agreed with each customer individually and confirmed in writing prior to dispatch of goods. Late payment on commercial contracts is subject to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

While we take care to ensure product descriptions are accurate, specifications may be updated by manufacturers from time to time. Customers with critical application requirements should confirm current technical data sheets with our team before ordering.

To the extent permitted by law, Britannia's liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects rights that cannot be excluded under UK legislation.

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal obligations. The version of these terms and conditions published on this page when your order is accepted is the version that applies to that order.
